The thing i’m proudest of is that, in iTunes, my music is inbetween George Harrison and The Gaslight Anthem.

It may be due to the fact that I just rewatched the last episode of Scrubs ever for the second time in my life. I’m just feeling awful nostalgic.
This year, I feel as if I met people that I will be seeing in years to come at the front row of my wedding, i’ve really found out who actually gives a shit about what happens and who really only cares about capital M-E. I’ve always happily been on standby for people. A lot of weird stuff happened to me this academic year and with the next year looming over me, i’m just really excited.
Mah boys.

Some riot inspired lyrics I wrote a while ago.

In the ampitheatre, the fights about the begin
the matador, center stage. the bull let off the reigns
in the high street hell, helicopters fan the flames
by the upturned car, the bull sees blood and it strays.

Break another mirror, find 4 years of bad luck
the parliaments puzzled face, the peoples words escape.
blood and broken glass stain the marble floors
but the riot shield is clean as it was before.

We tried to build our nest up, with twigs we found on the ground
the tinsel town now in flames, the poet’s breathe defends.
Cardboard colonies by the cornerstone
wolves in cheap tracksuits and balaclavas

Anonymous asked: ☻: Favourite Guitarist.

Is there a favourite lyricist thing on this? Conor Oberst if so.

I really like the way how Max Bemis from Say Anything uses these damn weird chords to create really fun, fast paced songs.

I also think Jack White does exactly the same thing when it comes to everything he does. ‘Salute Your Solution’, ‘Icky Thump’ and ‘Sixteen Saltines’ spring to mind instantly in terms of these hard hitting memorable licks and how he can channel the blues in so many different ways.

When it comes to technicality, John Mayer. I love the slap/pick technique he uses on ‘Stop This Train’ and ‘Who Says’.

Anonymous asked: ☒ A band you like that people wouldn’t expect you to.

no idea whatsoever.

I’d say like the punk bands I grew up with like Alkaline Trio, Less Than Jake and Green Day

But then you’ve got like Maroon 5 in my iTunes as well as like Slayer.

I even smell like old people and soup. Bleh.

Twenty and a day.

Twenty and a day.
